Customer Question

Hello, our ideal logic+30 is losing water pressure over night. Have investigated today: no leaks from radiators or from prv outlet outside. Taken front casing off an can see drips coming from the bottom of the zero pressure silencer (right hand side, you can see that the screw has corroded slightly due to water damage)
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: Question: could this drip from the silencer cause the drop in water pressure? Is it a symptom of something else or is it a red herring and I need to be looking elsewhere? Thanks
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: No just need to know if this drip from the silencer is the root cause so am informed when dealing with plumber, thanks
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No
