I'm replacing a Sunvic 2253 thermostat with a Horstmann Centaurstat 7. I'll be bypassing the clock built into my Vaillant ecoTec pro.
There are three wires plus an earth. One live, two switched. Which wires do I need to use for the Centaurstat 7?

By the look off the wiring diagram you only need two witched lives to go to 1 and 2. then connect back to the thermostat connections on the boiler. Leave timer where it is just switch it to constant. You will then control the boiler via the thermostat
