Customer Question

I've got a Baxi 553. Fully pumped with seperate gravity HW. Problem is the boiler fires up for a minute then cuts out, Like there is an airblock in the boiler itself.

Check the header tank first and ensure it is full of water and that the arm on the balltap is not stuck.

Header tank is full and the ball tap is moving freely. Hit water seems to be slowly moving around the system now but I think I'm going to have to bleed it every few hours.

Try on hw only and turn the thermostat right up, it will help with the gravity circulation.
