I have a British Gas 330 gh efficiency condensing boiler.

Customer Question

I have a British Gas 330 high efficiency condensing boiler. Every time I turn it on it cuts out and comes up with the fault F5. I have aired the system, checked the pump works and is connected properly. I have also checked the thermistors are connected properly. Does this indicate that I need a new overheat thermostat, or could ther be another problem.

Hi it's an over heat problem

Turn off electrical supply.
Take off outer case then take off inner casing " Top left hand corner thermostatic switch and little red button, if you press this then the boiler should start again.

If it trips again then you may have a problem with your pump.
