I have just put a new MT10 timer in. It's ticking away but

Hi i have just put a new MT10 timer in. It's ticking away but not moving round to set timer off. Any suggestions. Cheers Dave

Can you give it a full twist and see it it starts spinning, if not check the electrical connections as it may not be getting enough power to turn the clock.

If that does not work then it is a faulty timer

it's a brand new timer, when fitted, timer comes on but won't knock off

It definitely sounds like the motor turning the clock is either faulty and not powerful enough or is not getting the right voltage.

The timer comes on but does not switch off. I have turned timer knob fully and there is not a problem with the supply, Cheers Dave
