VerifiedHello and thank you for your question. I will assist you to the best of my ability. I agree that the boilers heat exchanger needed to be powerflushed and Sentinel X800 was the proper technique. typically, this will work however, if the noise is reappearing then the heat exchanger is certainly ridden with mineral deposits which will hold the heat which is why the boiler continues to make the noises after it has shut down. It is boiling the water in the heat exchanger after the unit shuts down.
