Need to renew old Drayton...

Need to renew old Drayton room stat its an old retangular wall stat. It is a five wire stat one is an earth then 1 is red wire 2 is black wire 3 is blue wire 4 is yellow wire. No technical advise from Drayton on their system please advise. Thanks Larry please advise what stat to replace the existing

Red - Live In (3)
Black - Neutral In (N)
Green/Yellow - Earth (E)
Yellow - Switch wire out (1)
Anything connected to (2) will only be live when the heating is satisfied.

Hi Andrew

In the order they appear green/yellow is earth red is live black is neutral yellow switch wire what is the blue wire and what current room stat will match this one i.e. make/model.

I still do not know the blue is for? You can use any room stat as you have a neutral. Find one you like and we will go through the connections.

I have a Drayton Combi Stat which has an earth connector then the block has 4 connectors in this order 1=L 2+3 I presume are load and 4=N therefore should 1=Live 2= Blue 3= Yellow 4= Neutral to compare with the old setup.

Any other wires terminate with some terminal strip and wrap in insulation tape.
