Hi my name is XXXXX XXXXX lets see if we can get you sorted in the shortest possible time. This is a standard condensing boiler so it will depend how it is piped, but normally it should heat the water too. If you follow the pipe from the side of the cylinder can you see if it goes back to a silver or white box?

There is a large lower pipe marked ''primary flow'' that goes to a collection of pipes but it does have a silver box fixed to the top of it marked as honeywell.

Slightly lower and to the other side is a similar pipe marked '' Primary return''

When you programmer is set to hw on, the silver box you have found - there is a lever on the side, can you tell me if it is loose or tight?

Hi Andrew

The SALUS minder box is set to on all the time for hot water....

At the back of the silver Honeywell box just below the electric cable outlet I can feel a lever which is loose but I cannot see the actual due to tight placement.

Your hot water and central heating programmer - set it to hot water only. Turn off the heating and then tell me if the lever on the motorised valve is tight or slack?

LEVER MOVES FROM SIDE TO SIDE not backwards or forwards

ok, your valve is stuck then. When on hot water only the valve should be shut and the lever tight. If you get the valve replaced it will cure all your problems.
