Hi I am Rick, UK Plumber, and I specialize on Boiler problems, no the pump is for CH system only there is a filter in the inlet to the hot water system, this is most likely blocked with debris, Rick Yes it is easy enough, but a bit tight for space, you are better using fixed open ended spanners rather than adjustable if you have them, just turn off the mains and open the hot taps, place a container under the boiler for odd drips, Rick
