Is the pump you have a negative head pump?
Customer:
not to sure its off my hot water tank it just pumps the shower

my tanks are in the loft the same level as my shower

The pump is just a shower pump

As you are using the same pump as before, it might not be a negative head pump. What is happening is that the shower is level with the tank and there is not enough head to activate the pump, if you lower the head of the shower into the bath/cubicle you may find the pump kicks in quicker. You will need a negative head pump to be able to pump the water to the same height or above the height of the tank.

yes when i lower the shower head it kick in or i have to take the shower head off and suck the pipe lol and it works

yes this is because the shower is not low enough to activate the pump and sucking the pipe (lol) causes (Fools) the pump into thinking there is a tap open and it needs to run.
