Hi, my Glow Worm Flexicom...

Hi, my Glow Worm Flexicom Boiler was showing a F9 fault which i understand is a low pressure fault, This started after i had my bedroom plastered and the plasterer took my radiator off to do this, i only noticed last night, instead of turning the radiator fully off, he had left it on a winter setting which has caused water to leak which is why i'm assuming i have low pressure, i've now turned the radiator completely off and tried to fill more water through the filling loop, the boiler is now showing a F12 fault and there doesn't seem to be any water coming through the filling loop, so the pressure seems stuck at 0.4-0.5bar and the fault re-occurs shortly after resetting the boiler. I've checked all of the radiators for air and there is one in the spare bedroom which lets out some air for a short period then stops(but no water comes out), when left for a while the air seems to build up again but no water ever comes out. Any ideas what could be wrong??? Thanks, Steve.

Hi to start with you must get the boiler pressure up to 1 bar or 1.5 bar

Is the filling loop part of the boiler or a seperate filling loop connected to the pipes

By turning the 2 levers under the boiler.

No, nothing seems to happen when i open them.

Ok are you sure you opening both or opening one and closing the other, try them in different positions

Both should be open, they say closed when facing me, i'm guessing the pressure's low because of the radiator being left on and water leaking??

I need to know if you are opening the correct valves(the filling loop) are the levers on the right side and left side pipes

Yeah, connected through a flexible pipe, both levers say closed on the front and the only other lever i could find was attached to the gas pipe??

Good news you know how to fill it, is the flexible pipe kinked

The flexible pipe is attached both ends and secured to the bottom of the boiler, i've been opening the levers and hoping it would fill??

Its not a common fault for the boiler not to fill via the filling loop, is the cold water turned on

Yeah, water is on but the hot water stops when i open the levers??

Have you filled the boiler before

No, we've literally just moved in??

Ok I think this is the problem you are not filling the boiler you are turning the cold water supply to the boiler on and off

Ahhhh...... Ok, how do i fill the boiler then??

It would be easier to see if you go to the glowworm website and watch the video

The two levers to fill it are grey and they do say closed on them is this what you have been trying
