yes I think this is your problem, these pumps unlike ordinary motors do not burn out seconds after being stalled, they just get hot, your pump is stuck, be care full if you get the screw undone as a little water will come out (egg cup full usually) but it will be very hot, get the pump spinning and you will be away, Rick
