VerifiedHi I am Rick, UK Plumber, and I specialize on Boiler problems, can you tell me the model of time controller you have, and do you have a room thermostat if yes what type, Rick
if you have the rotating tappet type, then with the tappets set to your times and with the roomstat up full rotate the dial slowly and check that the boiler functions on the times set, if not then the center hub has loosened and the tappets are not tripping, a small plastic part breaks and is not repairable, I have tried super glue in the past but it is difficult not to get it on the moving parts, and it is only a temporary fix, it is just a week point, these timer were an option and not too many are fitted to the boilers I have worked on, Rick
