Customer Question

The plug in the bathroom basin is stuck - I inadvertently twisted the screw the wrong way this morning and now we can't get the plug out! Have you any suggestions please?

Hi I am Rick, UK Plumber, I assume this is a pop up waist probably with a flexible wire connector below the back of the basin, these work on a cam under the plug and get corroded, if you look under the basin at the rear of the trap at the top you should see a spindle going into the waste, if you put a pair of pliers on this spindle and try turning it back and forward till it moves so lifting the plug, it could be of course that a part has corroded and broken, Rick
