I have a problem with a Linea 28e Volkera Combi Boiler.
The heating to rads works ok but when the DHW is used the boiler shuts down and shows reset with no error code showing.

Hi Andrew, The boiler does make shhhing noise before its shuts down. Before shutting down it will run for about 3mins.

It could be the plate to plate heat exchanger scaled up and the boiler runs harder to try and transfer the heat into the hot water but cannot.

You would need to strip it out and put it in a bucket with some boiler descaler for half and hour, and watch it fizz. It will then be good as new.
