VerifiedHi my name is XXXXX XXXXX lets see if we can get you sorted in the shortest possible time. You will have to turn it off, and make it safe. The thermostat has gone on the boiler and sounds like it is permanently made. You need to call Scottish Gas and tell them that the boiler is unsafe in this condition. It can melt the plastic tank and pour scolding water over you in the night. Please tell me that you will turn it off at the fused spur and ring them straight away.
It still sounds like the thermostat at fault. This is the only part you are using at the time and if you replace it the fault will clear.
