I've had the timing...

I've had the timing chain replaced on my Micra but now it's having difficulty starting and cutting out especially when slowing down at junctions

Mechanic's Assistant: How many miles on the car? How responsive has your car been lately?

99000 and not responding well at all

Mechanic's Assistant: What year is your Micra?

2004

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Micra yourself? What have you tried so far?

No I've only had the car 6 weeks and local garage done repair

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I've had the car serviced before this new oil and air filter ignition coils and spark plugs fitted don't know what to try next

Before the chain was done did you have this problem ..

Or was all this work done because of the problem .

When you do have the engine running is the check engine light ON and did you ever

check for malfunction codes .

No the engine light isn't on and I had this work done because of the problem code came up cam shaft sensor
