Hi I have a 2004 Nissan 1.8 Primera. The engine management light came on and it showed the camshaft sensor is the problem. I am having trouble starting it I replaced the sensor but sometimes it starts and sometimes it wont. Any help would be grateful.

Customer: Yes tuning over is no problem

Could you give me the actual codes you have ,

Did the check engine light stay off after replacing the sensor, or stay on and will not clear.

was OEM parts used or aftermarket.

No code it just said cam sensor, we removed the engine management light but it came back on after 2 hours.Tried a few sensors but still same problem, sometimes it will start then one or two hours later when it's cooled down it wont. No problem with the battery, it turns over for ages.
