As a Brit living in France, How can I find lawyer who will, as I am entitled, make me a will to be executed under UK law and not under French law which insists upon provisions that are anathema to me?

Hello

You are at liberty to make a will that requires the estate to be wound up in England.

However it may be that French law requires you to pay certain taxes before monies are released over there.

I am not a French 'Notaire' - there may be other issues if all or the bulk of your estate resides in France.
