Lawyer's Assistant: What state are you in? It matters because laws vary by location.

My father kindly lent me money to build my own home in the UK and subsequently placed a charge on the finished property and land. Unfortunately I beame ill last year and was unable to pay back th e monthly fees for the loan. M

Lawyer's Assistant: Has anything been filed or reported?

When I was able to I paid in instalments but since becoming ill I'm not in the position to do so.
