I was wondering if the UK website cookie law has a right to private action (ability to bring a private individual lawsuit) or if it is only enforced by the government and regulators?
How are the damages calculated?
Is the law applicable to websites based in the USA and EU but are accessed from the UK?
(I am an American the terms that I used above may not exactly match British English).
