Hi there, I've been falsely accused of ABH and am being charged and going to court on in mid-november
JA: Is this a civil court case or criminal court?
Customer: Criminal
JA: What action has been taken so far? What's your ideal outcome?
Customer: Not to get charged, my wife has shown the police pictures, but I did not bruise her I even have a voice recording of her bragging to her boyfriend that she cried in front og them and that she did not tell them about bruising to her thigh
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: She has been having an affair, using class A drugs and has got sectioned for mental health act 136

do you know when she got the bruise's come from? was you there?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I think from her boyfriend. She is also anaemic and gets bruised easily even when playing with our son. She has given dates of 22 - 25th August and I wasn't even there for some of the time. Her dad stayed with us from 24th August and she did not tell him. has also mentioned date in june/july 2016. We also had marriage counselling in July and she did not mention it then either.

Are you asking if you have a defence?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
what are the chances of me being charged, I even have a recording of her bragging to her boyfriend about crying in front of the police and not disclosing a bruise on her thigh.

Well, if you have been charged then you are charged already.

They not going to drop it if this is a domestic.

I haven't heard the recording but you might be able to use it to good effect. You will need to disclose it to the Crown in the normal way.

If you ask a more specific question then I might be able to offer more.

Can I clarify anything for you?
