i attended a meeting with a friend who has a lease on a pub, the pub co wanted to get the site back and agreed verbally to pay £40000 and cancel the remaining ter, which is about 3 years with no delapidation required, just give the keys back and leave agreeing that end of october to be best for both parties, nothing came in writting and now they have renaged on the deal, does the verbal agreement have any validaty ? he did tell the rep that their was another interested party but the pub co man said best go with us as this has all been sanctioned,
