It's regards SET(DV).. As I've suffered domestic violence

Customer Question

Hi, it's regards SET(DV).. As I've suffered domestic violence and recently had to use the police to get some of my stuff after others were thrown out in my absence. I'm currently working, have no savings and owe over £900 on my credit card. Can I be classed as destitute for purpose of fee payment?
JA: Because employment law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: It's in the UK, Northumberland
JA: Have you talked to a lawyer yet?
Customer: Not yet as the lawyer is on holiday I currently don't have a home but leave in a self catering hotel
JA: Anything else you think the lawyer should know?
Customer: Don't know what else depends on what he asks to know

Sorry if I am missing the point but what is the relevance of your claims of domestic abuse to a credit card debt?

Expert:  Jo C. replied 1 year ago.

Or have I misinterpreted your question?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I learnt that you don't have to pay the fee if you can show you are a destitute so can't afford the fee. So I want to know if being in debt and not having savings eventhough I'm working currently will classify me as destitute for fee purpose.

If I'm getting response I want my money back

I don't know who told you that but it is completely wrong.

You are very definitely liable in full whatever your circumstances.

If I don't get a suitable response I want my money back

Whether or not you have made allegations of domestic abuse are a non issue.

The credit company are entitled to their money and they will win and in addition get costs.

I don't say I won't pay my debts! I saying.. Does not having money or means to pay application fee for domestic violence application make me a destitute?
