Then that is not something that can be appealed I'm afraid.

There is no appeal from a caution save for judicial review of the decision to offer a caution. If the offence is suitable to administer a caution and the defendant has no relevant previous and admits the offence then the criteria is met.

The fact that it is regretted that an allegation was made and a caution was accepted is not a ground for removal.

Had the offer of a solicitor been accepted then probably the advice would have been to make a no comment interview which would have avoided this but that didn't happen and that isn't a police failing.

I'm very sorry but that is the reality. It is just not a ground for judicial review that the caution is now regretted.

Oh no, of course it wasn't. Most domestics are a load of nonsense. Whatever you read in the papers most domestics are just things like TV remote controls being thrown around in a row. If the public had any idea what most of it amounts to there would be an outcry about the fact that the police even go to them. There is not much genuine abuse in the UK.

Plain fact remains, there was an allegation of assault and their policy is to pursue it. She admitted the offence and it was suitable for a caution.
