Is it illegal to take any form of payment of a season

Customer Question

Is it illegal to take any form of payment for use of a season ticket, and are there any exceptions to this for example is it legal if the value does not exceed the face value of the ticket?
Is it legal to exchange a ticket for another if no money passes hands?

Can you explain your situation a little more?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sure. I understand that people sell season tickets they don't use all the time. There seems to be varying different t & C's attached to different suppliers / clubs. I'm a software developer and was looking at a platform that allowed people that I advertise tickets they can't use. But first wanted to consider that he legal implications of such a site.

Thanks. I'm not sure this is my area.

I will opt out for others.

Sorry my first time using this site. What does opt out mean does that mean other solicitors will pick up the question?

Nevermind I can see on the site you've referred to someone else. Thank you.
