VerifiedThere isn't a crime of defamation in the UK. Defamation is a civil tort not a criminal offence.
However, I do see the point you are making which is effectively that the ways in which men abuse are generally unlawful in the UK but the ways in which women abuse are either not or amount to very minor offences.
It is outrageous and something should be done. Male abuse is unlawful. Female abuse is generally not.
But it is the position.
