I have received a text message from an anonymous mobile

Customer Question

Hello! I have received a text message from an anonymous mobile 'phone number advising me against having an affair with a member of my staff and threatening my reputation and the destruction of my family if I did (which I'm not!). How should I proceed? Your advice appreciated!

You have a couple of options. Do nothing. There are some random people who try this as a scam. It only activates itself if you contact them back - the fact that you have may encourage them. You really ought to contact the police and let them know. Sometimes that will do nothing but I see no harm in you notifying them. Happy to discuss. Please rate positive.
