If this is just drunk and disorderly then he will just be fined.
Obviously I haven't seen the evidence in this case but drunk and disorderly is not a charge commonly used now. Normally they prefer S5 public order to drunk and disorderly but that only carries a fine at court.
Drunk and disorderly usually just attracts a fixed penalty fine.

Yes, they gave the friend a fixed penalty fine but chose not to for him because of his previous.
If he is fined then it will show on basic for one year under the new rules but eleven years on enhanced as he is now an adult.
