You are not being disqualified. You are being revoked under the new drivers scheme. If you accrue more than 6 points within the first 2 years of driving then your licence is revoked.
That does not mean you are banned though. It just means you have to take your test again. You can do a crash course and be back on the road within a week. I do realise you would prefer not to do that but its an option for you.
In relation to the appeal to the DVLA, to be wholly honest, I'm afraid it is a waste of time. There is no exceptional hardship test under the new drivers revocation scheme unfortunately.

You can apply for that tomorrow. You are not banned. You are just revoked. You are in the position you were in before you got your full licence.
There isn't a faster way of doing this I'm afraid. You have to do your test again. The intensive course providers may be able to offer you the full test at the end of the week but you would need to talk to them about that.
