My husband and i have been married for 10 years. things have been very difficult lately, especially a situation regarding his ex-wife and children that he has with her. I find myself not wanting to continue with this relationship as things have been hard between us lately, resulting in a lot of arguements and unpleasantness. I have a 1 year old daughter with my husband and i don't work at the moment. He is self employed. I find myself wishing to leave the marital home and end the marriage and wish to just set up with just my daughter and myself. Only i don't know where to begin or who to turn to for help and advice. I could put up an arguement to stay in the marital home only my husband lived there with his previous wife, but as i don't work i couldn't really afford to stay there and would not wish him to leave on my account as his youngest son also resides with us. The house is in joint names only as i haven't worked in nearly the whole time we have been married i haven't actually contributed to payment of the mortgage. which is in arrears as things are getting more and more tight due my husbands workload getting less and less. I don't have anywhere else i could go though or any relatives i can stay with and i don't really know where to start on that account. I don't work so have no set income at the moment, but i would wish to try to return to work as soon as i can. But then there is the problem of trying to sort childcare and finding the money to pay for it. I am also on a debt management plan as a result of accumilating debts of around about £12000 as a result of my husbands lacking workload as he is self employed and has taken a dramatic drop in his income of late. We have also had to put my husband on a debt management plan as we are starting to struggle finacially. i gave up work when we married to take on the care of my 4 stepchildren as at the time they all resided with us but 3 have gone to live with there mother now as a result of our ongoing situation. i have no income but wish to try and get back to work as soon as possible, but i also have to sort childcare and how i can pay for it in the start and also how i should go about sorting out my debt management plan. I don't know what to do or where to turn regarding finding accomadation for myself and my daughter. I feel i have got myself into a hole and i will never get out. I really am very desperate for any help and advice i can find to get my situation started on a turn around for the better for me and my daughter. i waited 10 yrs to have her due to fertility problems and now feel like the worst mother in the world as i am letting her down in every aspect of her life.
