Their options really are either take no further action or charge you.
I am sorry but I'm afraid my rough guess would be that they will charge you. The fundamental problem is that its never very credible really to say that people acting in the course of their duty attacked you. Also, you cannot hide from the fact that there are probably multiple witnesses in their favour and only your evidence in yours.
I'm afraid its pretty rare that a person who has reported an assault first get arrested himself and since that seems to have happened here, I am sorry but that suggests that there is probably enough evidence to charge you.
That doesn't mean you will be convicted of course but its certainly a possibility you will be charged.
That said, you must be on bail for some further enquiry to be made. If that were to be decided in your favour CPS may decide there is room for reasonable doubt.
