You have a claim against the person who threw the bottle clearly. This is a small claims court amount so it would be cheap to sue. But you have to prove who threw it. The tenant is not liable. Im afraid it is simply wrong to say that the tenant is liable for the actions of his guests. Unless you can show that he assisted in some direct way then there is no claim. He is not liable for the actions of another person unless he knew of them and encouraged them. Im sorry that this is probably not the answer that you wanted but please remember to click on accept.
