VerifiedHello - it will not be for you to prove your wife was lying, it will be for the prosecution (if it even goes to Court) to show, beyond doubt that you are guilty. You do not have to prove your innocence.
It may be that the Police take no further action in any if they are satisfied it is malicious. But in the event that they do - it is for the prosecution to prove each and every element of the allegation.
If you have done nothing wrong you do not need to worry.
