If the mother is trying to thwart your contact with your son then you will need to make an application to court for a defined contact order. The court take it into account the best interests of the child. He has right to have meaningful contact with you and unless the mother can prove that you are a risk to your son then the court will order contact. If the mother disobeys the court order she can be punished by the court under their enforcement powers.
