I received a letter from an online solixitors about a car accident…

i have never admitted liability and gave reasons as to why to my insurers.
He has not used his own insurers but has asked solicitors to claim against my insurers for damages, and given the speed at which this happened, those claims seem highly questionable, also. That claim as stated by his solicitors and on his behalf is factually incorrect.
It can not physically have happened where they said that the accident happened. That is, as stated, no car accident took place.
It is palpably obvious that the man is not telling the truth and has asked his solicitors to repeat that on his behalf.
It is a fraudulent claim by deed of fact and I can not understand why my insurers, to whom I pay for legal cover seem intent on ignoring this untruth, seem willing to accept his version and have also increased my premiums, and quite strangely enough seem willing to insure me again.
As I have ststed, I do not take kindly to a solicitors letter being posted directly to myself from 'out of the blue' with an allegation about an accident and threatening possible police action when that allegation as stated is false.
I have received county court documents in which two of the occupaants have made claims for damages to which my insurers have not agreed the figure.
Quite how or why this has ever proceeded this far is beyond me.
It is self evident that the claim as steted by his solicitors is untrue.
I am quite prepared for this to be fully investigated and to stand in court and ask his solicitors to repeat that claim before a judge and jury.

It appears that my insurers have offered a figure that two of the claimants have rejected and that this is the reason for the county court procedure.
The point that I am making is that the driver of the taxi has not used his own insurers but instead chose to go to an online soliciting firm, who then forwarded to myself a factually incorrect allegation and claims for injuries and losses on bis behalf, with the threat of police action if I did not respond.
It is my understanding that if an insurance claim is issued with the intention to deceive then it can be viewed as a fraudulent claim.
By the very nature of the location of the accident, to which his solicitors letter refers to, the claimant is making a false allegation. i.e insurance fraud.
The claim as, repeated by his solicitor, is demonstrably false.
As a professional, one would expect that should a solicitor make allegations on a clients behalf then he should make sure that he gets his facts right, by which I mean that should he choose to repeat an untruth about the nature of an accident, then he should have the common sense to say that it took place at a location that geographically exists, and not one that his client chooses to invent.
The allegation concerning the accident is not credible, and I now wish to challenge that allegation, and I am quite prepared to go to the police myself.
