I would advise you to write to the bailiffs and let them that the car in question is not yours and there has been a mistake by the finance company. Get the finance company to write to them as well.
Also, let the bailiffs know that it's a criminal offence to harass debtors under section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970 and also warn them that you will report them to the Office of Fair Trading. Debt collectors need a licence from the OFT, and can have it cancelled if they act in this way.
Also, write to the finance company demanding that this matter is resolved immediately otherwise you would sue them for the £5000 if you are forced to pay it to the bailiffs as it was their fault and warn them that you will report them to the Financial Ombudsman as well
