I have been working in the uk for the past 10years as a chief engineer on a safety vessel operating in the north sea uk sector. I had been renewing my visa yearly as on offshore worker. on trying to renew my visa recently , i was told by the immgration office at glascow office that the law had been changed in which i am not classify as on offshore worker. Please can you advise on what to do as my visa is expiring very soon.
