Get the UK family law assistance you need

As is the case in other parts of the world, in the UK, family law is concerned with issues related to family disputes. Although this is a specific area of the law, it can involve numerous entities, agencies and authorities, based on the scope and nature of the proceedings. Family law in the UK can include both public and private matters, with some cases limited to a family unit while others involve government entities.

Typically, family courts in England and Wales deal with:

  • Parental custody disputes
  • Divorce proceedings
  • Intervention for child protection
  • Domestic violence (depending on situation)
  • Special guardianship
  • The adoption process

If you have UK family law questions, or you need guidance with family court proceedings, the legal Experts on JustAnswer can clarify any confusion you have regarding these important, and sensitive, matters. All you need is an Internet connection, and the verified professionals can provide you with information and peace of mind. You’ll only approve payment to the Expert once you’re fully satisfied with the assistance you’ve received.

Many years ago my aunts husband left the matrimonial home
many years ago my aunts husband left the matrimonial home one night and never came back all without warning in the early days we searched for him but without success. last year after employing new people we traced him to bournemouth where he had been living unsheltered housing. because of his health a solicitor was appointed to help him manage his money. they said he had no possesions said he had no family at all and there was no photographs in the flat. also no documents of any kind. the solicitors advised him to make a will after he was eventually moved into a care home with dementia rather than the small amount of money he had go to the government. he obviously agreed to this and the little money was left to cancer research. we have now discovered that he died a year ago. his wife is still alive in the same home but it is her husbands name on the deeds only. she has gone through agony with this journey she is 82. and having discovered the information is terrified that the charity will take her home. at the moment theynhavd no knowledge of the property. I have read that she could make a claim. but is it too late. is the solicitor wrong in not checking into his ni number with the dwp before advising where to leave his money. it was very easy checking this as his ni number marries with his wife together on record. I am in such a worry what to do next … read more

im a police officer working 6 days in 10. I have 4 days off after my six days. before starting work i was the full time carer for our three children 7,6 and 4. I didn't work when they were not in school. when they all joined school i then started to work full time and myself and husband separated due to his infidelity. He threw me out of our marital home saying i did not contribute to the home (i was full time carer of the children) he has another house which he bought before we married. I asked him to move into the smaller home not to unsettle the children but he refused. He continued to rent out the smaller home to tenants and he remained in the marital home as he said because i didn't financially contribute that the home was not mine. Due to his behaviour i moved into my fathers and my father helps support me and the children because he refuses to pay child maintenance. I have them for 6 days in 10, he has them for 4 days in 10. Because he has them for the four days and he says he spends on them then that he won't give me a penny of support. I have family court tomorrow and i feel so scared. Please can you tell me where I stand? Thanks Kate … read more
