Customer Question

Hello Jusleen
My husband's son (my stepson) is 13. He has autism and attends a school for children with special needs. He is intellectually and emotionally much younger than his chronological age. He has residence with us, seeing his mother alternate weekends and school holidays- this is set out in a court order following a court case 3 years ago. Due to a minor incident at our home (he was told off for lying) he went into a rage and has decided he wants to live with his mum. Since the scheduled weekend contact with his mum he is now refusing to come home to us. His mum is enabling this and forbid his school to let him get in the school transport home to us today. He has been taken back to her home from school which goes against the court order.
What is our legal position please?
Thank you
