My daughter works in a large office her Director addresses

This answer was rated:

My daughter works in a large office her Director addresses her across the office by her sir name only then when close by her he addresses her as darling not only unprofessional but is it right.

It is not right if she is feeling uncomfortable about it, it could amount to harassment/victimisation.
She should have a word in private with the Director about this and request that she would like to be addressed properly by her first name only, otherwise if this doesn't work. she may put in a formal grievance about it with HR.

Hope this helps-please leave feedback
