Hi there and welcome

How long does it take to start up?

And when it does, does it function correctly?

Expert:  Richard replied 2 months ago.

When did that problem start?

Hello Alan

You have requested another expert, my name is ***** ***** you are describing is classic symptoms of failing elko capacitors (electrolytic) in the power-supply section of the unit, what I normally do is replace any that look suspect usually they do show physical signs of stress like leaking\ballooning up\raised domed tops and these are the most suspect at this time, outside of that there may be a 5volt or 12 volt regulator that may be temperature sensitive, so what this means is the unit will need to be dis-assembled to gain access to the circuits

Expert:  Anthony InfoTech replied 2 months ago.

Then its replacing whatever is bad elkos most suspect or bad regulator using soldering tools if you think you can do this yourself I will be happy to help here

Please I would be grateful if you could you rate the information or answer positively with the rating bar of stars at the top of the page, rating me positively enables me to receive payment from the site thank you, ***** ***** question is open for 30 days.
