VerifiedHey there, my name is Jake.Sorry your having issues, but thanks for reaching out.With your dad being in a chair, this could be tricky. You likely need someone there to help, there is a release from the inside by the lock, the plastic boot trim by the lock pops off to access the manual release for the latch.On these models it’s common for the wires in the rubber boot at the door hinge area to break inside the boot, you will need to pull the boot back and mend the wires.Hope that helps.
