No difference

No only the limp home light comes on

O.k.,this can be due to a faulty component like a throttle position sensor sending a false signal or an issue with a component in the gearbox.There are also several other sensors and components that can fail or act up as well causing this fault here.

What needs to be done from here is to have a fully compatible scan tool/computer plugged into your vehicle to see what codes are set.Once this is done any codes set then need diagnosed to then locate and repair this fault.This has to be done as there are several components that can cause this fault here.There should be at least one code set that will help to diagnose and locate the faulty component needing repaired or replaced.

Throttle sensors as well as transmission/gearbox solenoid and sensors are usually most common.
