Im not sure I avnt long bought why wouldn't it run with new regular??
UK Auto Mechanic: Kevin, UK Car Mechanic replied 10 months ago

Not sure mabye a bad part .i would start by changing the fuel filter .the code you have doesnt mean its always going to be a regulator fault .

UK Auto Mechanic: Kevin, UK Car Mechanic replied 10 months ago

Yeah i got that it may have been a bad part i would strongly recommend that you change fuel filter before going any further

Ok I will try that I read on line a guy from the RAC said the regulators fixed on the pump shouldn't be changed is that rite??
UK Auto Mechanic: Kevin, UK Car Mechanic replied 10 months ago

They can be changed but they rarely fail on these models .its amost always a pump issue or a blocking filter .filters are very common to blocking up because most diesels are filled in supermarkets where the fuel qaulity is substandard
