Hi I'm Kevin it does sound a lot like battery voltage is too low to start can you check this first .try to charge battery

Have checked the battery.Its a bit low and is now on charge. The warnings on the dash keep showing different faults e.g. Power steering fault, airbag fault, Traction fault. Every time I put electronic key in it shows a different fault.
This would fit with the battery being low .low voltage will confuse control systems causing warnings
