Let me check a wiring diagram to see why this may be happening, does the battery light stay on even with the key out?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
No just when the car is on.

Ok the fuse I wanted you to check for voltage is marked 7.5 alternator, it should be in the fuse box under the hood.
