Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The factory alarm would be the horn honking and lights flashing and it wouldn't allow the vehicle to be driven so you definitely have an aftermarket alarm. The problem may be a failure of the alarm module or it may just need to be disarmed.

Do you have the fob for the aftermarket alarm? If so have you pressed the unlock/disarm button?
