iv got a nissan micra s 2003 1.2 petrol main battery's been replaced by previous Owner raidio has reset iv got a flashing red light with a key on display when switched off only fob wont open or lock but locks inside on switch
JA: Have you double-checked to make sure the positive and negative signs are lined up correctly?
Customer: On main battery or on fob
JA: Are you fixing your Micra yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Iv had a auto electrician out to it but he says the car might of lost its memories hes reset key but it was unsuccessful
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: He all so said the key code he did not pass the teaching point

If the immobilizer light is flashing it's because the key has not been validated, which could be a key or module issue. This is most likely going to need to be diagnosed and repaired at a dealer.

Do you have a second key that was functional, and have you tried using it to start the engine?
