i need to find a permamamnt live near me glove box fuse box so I can power a dash cam
JA: Have you checked the manual yet? Most vehicles have two fuse panels.
Customer: i have 3, one in the engine bay, one under the glove box & one in me boot
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 2016 focus zetec s ecoboost 1ltr
JA: Are you fixing your Focus yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I'm replacing my old dash cam but this new one needs a permamamnt live, I'm using a piggy back fuse for the ignition live
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hi Steve

What i suggest you do is run a fuse 10amp wire direct from the battery. so you don't

interfere with any Management systems , which could cause systems malfunction and trip on management warning lights

if the wrong live wire is used .

Safest and best way to go .
